These Terms & Conditions cover the following areas:
Carriage
Any orders over £500 in value (excluding VAT) will be delivered on the UK mainland carriage paid. Carriage will be charged on any, non-school, orders under the value of £500. All school orders over £50 (excluding VAT will be delivered on the UK mainland carriage paid.
Damage, loss or incorrectly supplied goods
Any claims in respect of goods damaged, lost or incorrectly supplied must be notified within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
Returns
Any goods, unless they were incorrectly supplied or were identified as faulty upon receipt, must be returned at the expense of the customer. Refunds and exchange in such cases will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Credit accounts
Customers who wish to open a credit account should contact Stitch Design for an application form.
Terms of payment
Credit customers are required to pay outstanding accounts within 30 days from the date of invoice. Later payments will attract a surcharge of 2.5% per month charged on a daily basis. The surcharge will become payable immediately the account becomes overdue. Non-credit customers’ goods can only be dispatched or collected on payment of a ‘Pro-forma’ invoice.
Unpaid cheques
Customers will be charged £15.00 for each unpaid cheque. Cheques returned for re-presentation will be charged £15.00 each time the cheque is returned.
Collection of overdue accounts
Any costs in connection with the collection of overdue accounts, including any charges levied by third parties, will be payable by the customer.
VAT
VAT is charged as applicable.
Retention of title
All goods invoiced remain the absolute property of the supplier until the total amount due has successfully been received by Stitch Design.
Alteration of terms
These terms shall prevail over all other terms and no printed or written conditions shall apply which are inconsistent with these terms.
Acceptance of terms
Acceptance of terms: The placing of an order will confirm acceptance of terms of business.
Legal jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
